Air Source Heat Pump Installation

Level 3 OFTEC approved qualification

This course is aimed at experienced heating installers who wish to expand their knowledge & skills to include fitting heat pumps in domestic and small commercial properties. It will also enable you to meet the training entry requirements for the micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS).


Completion of the course will provide you with a Level 3 Certification, increasing your credibility and giving you the competitive edge, as well as showing your customers that you are trained to the highest of standards.
 
Course Content:
 
The Air Source Heat Pump Installation Course will anable operatives to specify, survey, design and install domestic or small commercial heat pump systems, enlisting manufacturers support where required. Plus the following areas:
 
  • Background to the market.
  • Heat pump regulations and guidance.
  • Heat pump types.
  • Matching to the correct heating system.
  • Pre installtion requirements.
  • Installation materials and methods.
  • Setting to work, commissioning.
  • Heat pump servicing and fault finding.
